Bait Saviour™ Container

The Bait Saviour™ Bait Container is a smart, timed-release bait system designed to dramatically improve catch efficiency while reducing bait costs and waste.

By protecting bait from predators and the elements and releasing it only when lobsters are most active—typically at night, the Bait Saviour™ helps you catch more using 50–75% less bait. It can also recharge traps with fresh bait during long soaks, keeping gear productive for extended periods without rebaiting.

Built for real-world commercial conditions, the container is manufactured from durable, marine-grade materials and operates reliably at depths of up to 183 metres (100 fathoms). The result is a smarter, eco-friendly baiting solution that reduces costs, minimises waste, and supports sustainable fishing practices.

Operation Requirement

To Operate the Bait Container, 1 x Hub and 1 x Remote are required, which are sold separately.
Only one "Hub" and one Remote (if the containers are required to open at different times) are required per vessel, regardless of the number of containers used

Smart Control System

To use the Bait Saviour™ Container, users log into an Online Portal where they can program up to four custom time modes or delay settings for bait release.

The Hub is required to connect Bait Saviour™ Containers to the Online Portal. Each time a container is closed, the Hub checks which time mode is selected and applies the programmed release schedule. A single Hub can manage 500+ units and has the ability to deactivate containers, rendering them unusable if required.

Optional Remote Control

An optional Remote provides maximum flexibility at sea—even without an internet connection.

Before heading out, up to four time modes are configured in the Online Portal. Once on the water, the Remote allows fishers to instantly switch between these modes, adapting bait release timing to changing conditions, locations, or soak strategies.

Battery & Charging

Each Bait Container charge offers a battery life of over three months.

To reduce electronic waste, one wireless charger is provided for every five Bait Containers purchased, based on the expectation that not all units require charging at the same time.
